The Twin Cities Urban Music Awards (TCUMA) is a Minnesota based awards show promoting, recognizing and acknowledging the artists and their impact on the Twin Cities music scene. The Twin Cities is an area with great music history that continues to evolve. TCUMA is here to distribute recognition for those making an impact. 
TCUMA is currently 100% comprised of a voting system that allows everything to be determined by an online voting system. Voters go online to nominate those worthy of winning particular categories and also to choose the winners. This way there is no question of how anyone was chosen. No winner due to relationships or arrangements, simply the Nominee with the most votes.

2013 TCUMA Categories
Voting will consist of 2 rounds. All qualifying submissions will go up in the 1st round of the voting polls which will start at 7pm on Fri Jan 4th 2013 for will be held for a 2 week period ending on Jan 18th  at 7 pm. 
The top 8 winners in each category will be the "Official Nominees" for the Twin Cities URBAN Music Awards. The 2nd round of voting will start on Feb 1st 2013 at 7pm held for a ***1 WEEK*** period ending on Feb 8th at 7pm, which will determine the awards winners.
